Caring for you

Caring for each other and for those around us is an important part of our Christian life, following the example of Jesus Christ.  We offer this care to all who live and work in and around our four villages.

Ill or in hospital

If you are ill or know someone in the benefice who is ill or in hospital, please contact our vicar - Revd Katrina if you would like a visit from Katrina or one of our lay visitors.  We like to support both the person who is sick and their family.

If you wish, we can also add their names to our daily or weekly prayer list.  We never underestimate the power of prayer in these situations - our experience tells us that prayer can and often does make a difference, as God works through our heartfelt words and yearnings.  It can bring comfort and peace.

Housebound or lonely

If you know of someone in one of our villages who is too frail to come to church any more, please contact our vicar - Revd Katrina if they would like us to bring communion to them at home or their care home.

Caring for loved ones

If you care for a loved one, we know how touch this can be at times.  We are here for you.  If you would like us to pop round for a cuppa and a conversation, please contact our vicar - Revd Katrina.

Coping with grief

If someone who is important to you, a family member or friend has died and you would like comfort and support, please feel free to contact our vicar - Revd Katrina.  Do not think that you are troubling us, we know how difficult it can be when someone we love dies.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
