Celebrating and Remembering our Mums
Sunday March 30th is Mothering Sunday. For many of us, this is a special day of celebration and an opportunity to say 'thank you' to our mums. It is a day full of joy and happiness. For others of us, Mothering Sunday can be a difficult time, perhaps we have lost our mums or never had a good relationship with them, or we have always wanted to be a mum but could not be or we have lost a child. It can be a day of sadness and tears.
As we come together for our Family Service, 10am at Mears Ashby Church, we will be celebrating the joy of this day and reflecting on its sorrows. Our theme is 'God's gift of love'. Do join us if you can.
Our church will be decorated for the service and there will be gifts of posies and chocolates.
Do come if you can. Whatever you have planned for Mothering Sunday, may God enfold you with his love.
