Holy and Eternal God,
you are the Maker of heaven and earth,
you are the Word through whom all things were made,
and you are the Spirit, the giver of life:
draw us into the mystery of your love,
that with all creation we may proclaim your praise,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Collect for Christ in Creation
Sunday marks the start of Creationtide in this benefice. This is a special season dedicated to God as creator and the sustainer of life, and to our role as co-carers of the planet we call home. We are celebrating Christ as the Word through whom all things were made, who is renewing and uniting life on Earth. It is a powerful image of a world as it should be for all creatures. Christ is King of all life not just human life.
Enjoy celebrating his role in creation. What a wonderful world God has made!
