O God, our help in ages past,
our hope for years to come,
our shelter from the stormy blast,
and our eternal home.
Isaac Watts (1674-1748)
This week, we pause to remember those who have been affected by past and present conflicts. It is eighty years on from the end of World War 2. In our Remembrance Sunday edition of Prayers and Reflections, we honour the service and sacrifice of the surviving veterans, and we pray for a true and lasting peace in our world's troubled places.
May these prayers and reflections be a source of God's comfort and hope this Remembrance Sunday.
Every blessing,
Revd Katrina (Vicar)
